Aminah Porché has been the Training & Development Specialist for Calcasieu Parish Police Jury for the last 13 years, developing and presenting training to employees at every point of the professional spectrum.  Aminah’s training room is usually filled with all level of employed and elected participants - students, laborers, attorneys, pilots, or physicians-one never knows!  But, as a training professional who respects the life experiences of each and every learner in the room, Aminah’s sessions are filled with lively conversation, enthusiastic input from participants, and lots of great energy.

Aminah’s a member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), International County & Management Association (ICMA), Imperial Calcasieu Society for Human Resources (ICSHRM), & she’s a certified Ethics Trainer for the State of Louisiana.

Aminah is a newlywed with a new bonus family, the mother of 25 & 26 year-old daughters, and grandmother to a beautiful grandson.  She is an active volunteer community member in her now- after 20 + years- hometown, Lake Charles.

In her spare moments you can find her with her nose buried in a book; in her spare afternoons at the movies with her refillable popcorn bucket; stealing away for any trips she can with her new husband; and cuddled up with her grandson for snuggles and spoiling!
